چکیده
The authors developed a nanocomposite using polypropylene (PP) and graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) with melt mixing method. Virgin PP was filled three sets of GNPs fixed thickness (15 nm) surface area (50–80 m2/g). selected H-type had different sizes 5, 15 25 µm. nanocomposites were made by loading at 1, 2 3 wt.%. Mechanical analysis carried out performing tensile, flexural impact strength tests. crystalline, micro-structural, thermal dynamic mechanical properties assessed through XRD, FESEM, PLM, DSC, TGA DMA It observed that all types boosted the polymer composite. Increasing nanofiller size decreased tensile modulus, increased strength. Maximum (≈41.18 MPa) resulted for composite consisting wt.% H5, whereas maximum (≈50.931 (≈42.88 J/m) strengths holding H25. Graphene induced PP’s crystalline phases structure. An improvement in stability seen based on results onset degradation (TD) melting (Tm) temperatures. crystallization (Tc) temperatures, acted like nucleating agent. experimental indicated lateral plays an important role nanocomposite’s homogeneity. noted small-sized improved dispersion agglomeration. Thus overall, are preferable, increasing hardly establishes feasible characteristics nanocomposite.

Effect of nanofillers on the dielectric properties of epoxy nanocomposites
Epoxy resin is widely used in high voltage apparatus as insulation. Fillers are often added to epoxy resin to enhance its mechanical, thermal and chemical properties. The addition of fillers can deteriorate electrical performance. With the new development in nanotechnology, it has been widely anticipated that the combination of nanoparticles with traditional resin systems may create nanocomposi...

1. General Introduction Conductive polymer composite materials deserve interest in several application fields [1]. A composite consisting of conductive fillers and an insulating polymer becomes electrically conductive as the filler content exceeds a certain critical value, which is generally attributed to percolation phenomenon. These percolation threshold values for the particular polymer comp...

In the last few years, great attention has been paid to the preparation of polypropylene (PP) nanocomposites using carbon nanotubes (CNTs) due to the tremendous enhancement of the mechanical, thermal, electrical, optical and structural properties of the pristine material. This is due to the unique combination of structural, mechanical, electrical, and thermal transport properties of CNTs. Howev...
متن کاملFoaming Behaviour, Structure, and Properties of Polypropylene Nanocomposites Foams
This work presents the preparation and characterization of compression-moulded montmorillonite and carbon nanofibrepolypropylene foams. The influence of these nanofillers on the foaming behaviour was analyzed in terms of the foaming parameters and final cellular structure and morphology of the foams. Both nanofillers induced the formation of a more isometric-like cellular structure in the foams...
